I need help

God I pray for help. I just had a stroke and am not able to work because my body is weak. The landlord decided to evict me out. I can't lose the home I've had for five years, so I don't know what to do

Jody, I wish you a speedy recovery because that's what I plan on doing in May, when I move back home where I will have more support! It has been almost 2 years, and the one-handed life isn't for me so I plan on kicking this stroke's butt once and for all! I hope you do the same! But my occupational therapist said I'm her hero so if you need advice on any one-handed tasks, email me please chellebeanz@gmail.com. I'm happy to share my methods if I can explain it in words.

dear Karon, thank you for your comments, it does help a little to know that there's at least 1 person out there that completely understands I wish you all the best of luck and best wishes

Left side gone for me too!

I'm sorry but I completely understand! I also refuse to believe it won't come back! it's been nearly 2 years and as I'm sure you know one handed living SUCKS!!! although I'm sure like me you have adapted and determination counts for a lot! If i want it bad enough i find a way to do it! thankfully I was right handed so its not super hard but I was a massage therapist and will be paying those loans from school for ten more years and you can't give a one-handed good massage! I've read that the brain cells may only be dormant and hyper-baric oxygen treatments could revive those cells that operated our left side. I tried a very expensive chinese herbal medicine and botox. Botox in my opinion was a waste of $2100 but the herbal neuroaid seems to have loosened the flexion of my hand after a $488 month of pills. I wish you luck in your difficult journey!
