Intense Daily Rehab Exercises for Stroke recovery

I had a stroke almost two years now that effected my right side. I can now walk again and go to the gym for one hour for exercises, however, my right is still slow in recovering. Will intense rehab help?

Response from stroke-rehab.com: It sounds like you are working diligently on your recovery spending an hour plus in the gym. I don't know if "intense rehab" as you say will help or not as there are a lot of factors involved such as how much return do you have, will you have a good therapist, how dedicated are you to doing your home exercises and also there is the unknown of how your body will respond. I think it is likely you would see improvement, but it may not be the results you expect. I think it is important to identify your specific physical deficits and determine what exercises/treatment would most benefit you. Identify weak muscles, tight muscles, irregular gait patterns, etc. and then address these issues.
